[7sevin7]: na uh

[7sevin7]: whell maby when your flying

[Sebhar]: "Learning to fly..." Have I mentioned recently that I LOVE PINK FLOYD?!

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: i got into a little pink floyd a while ago, some of it's okay, but i havent heard enough of it to establish an opinion on it. i did see the wall though.

[7sevin7]: lol AC/DC 4 me

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: my two loves at the moment are Android Lust and Nightwish

[7sevin7]: any ways

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: lol, i take it you havent heard of either of them?

[7sevin7]: nine

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: you lost me. i get confused easily

[7sevin7]: nine means no

[7sevin7]: its dutch

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: oh. not a language with which i am familiar.

[7sevin7]: yeah i know little bits and peaces of just about ever language, however i don't know any complete language besides English

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: i do english, and a bit of spanish, and greetings in half a dozen others. thats about it.

[7sevin7]: i really wanna learn Japanese and Chinese. problem is Chinese has like over 300 characters

[Draymond]: I thought Chinese had over a thousand actually. Oh well...and if you think about it, the atmosphere is all around us, and the entire planet obviously. SO, if you were to travel from your feet all the way through the Earth to the opposite side, that side of the Earth would be below you, and the atmposphere would be above that point, which would be below you. SO, the stratosphere is below you, and above you. Hah.

[7sevin7]: ah yes but if you look at it that way there is no true direction for direction is an illusion a tool made by humans to allow them to measure the world more easily

[Draymond]: Whatever, feel lost in the world

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: japanese isn't much worse. My family has lots of japanese connections.... talk about a difficult language, i can't even say toilet... pronunciation of most words is hard for westerners.

[Miss.Kayree]: Isn't "nine" actually spelled "nein" ?

[Sebhar]: Yes.

[Sebhar]: "Photographers snip-snap!"

[7sevin7]: full moon good by

[Sebhar]: iHeart lunar luminescence.

[7sevin7]: um can some one explain what just happened to me?

i just tried to use some incantations to turn myself into a werewolf but when they failed i tried to go figure out why and then my Internet went down right after that i find righting on my wall ive never seen before and in the righting is a bunch of gibberish but the distinct date 12-7-7 pops up which just so happens to be my birthday this year and it was circled as if to point it out to me another weird thing one of the symbols on the wall is the same as one scared on my arm pulse it wouldn't let me get back on the Internet till i vowed not to try and turn myself again and as soon as i said that it connected, i am so freaking weirded out

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: ummm.... this isn't the metaphysics wiki?

[7sevin7]: i know im just majorly wigged out now

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: i would be too

[7sevin7]: i may be paranoid but i think some ones watching me

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: <- is often paranoid too. a little paranoia is healthy.

[Zab]: Hmm... Why did you name the wiki a forum instead of making a forum for fantasy art? :P

[Draymond]: *twitch* Uh oh...*looks at Earthbound Dragon* Ball is in your court for this one.

[Zab]: *lmao* XD

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: It sounded like a good idea at the time. that and i have not a clue about forums.

[Draymond]: Hmm...well no harm done its everywhere now, can't really change it. Besides I like it.

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: me too. its my speshul place

[Draymond]: *grins* Speshul...hehe. Makes me feel happy thinking that word. O.o <.< >.> Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrright...I think Fantasy Art Forum sounds more offical than Forum for Fantasy Art. OR FFA, sounds like some sort of school related program where I live. lol FAF rocks.

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: *laughs* or F art Forum.... wow. who ate chili?

[Draymond]: *chuckles* Nice ^_^

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: that one popped into my head a while ago. the fart forum.

[Draymond]: *smiles and laughs* I never thought of it that way

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: i was rather amused, and burst out in seemingly random laughter

[Draymond]: FArtF

That'll be our new abbreviation for Fantasy Art Forum lol JK

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: i dont care. bring a sense of humor (more) into the place *looks at the white, padded walls* we need it.

[Draymond]: *smiles and chuckles* Nice living area you have there. ^_~ Indeed, more humour would be nice. Perhaps we'll have a featured art piece thats 'funny'. We can ask artist's permission to borrow their piece for FAF's funny section for what, a week? I already have a piece in mind, make that two, actually three...

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: Do whatever you want. i want everyone to just be able to come here to give or get advice, or maybe just enjoy the work, and its pretty laid back. I dont mind if anyone wants to start new FAF sections. just message me a link so I can add it to the mainpage.

[Draymond]: I was actually thinking that this 'funny' art piece of the week would be on the bottom of this page for all to see. Unfortunately the artist in question is on Elfwood.

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: yeah. so long as its legit and follows the rules, have a ball with this place.

[Draymond]: Problem is...I can't edit this page myself, only you can. Which works out fine because I'll message the picture to you and then you can judge it yourself before putting it up.

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: this is true.

[Draymond]: The artist (whom is on elfwood) actually has more than one rather amusing picture...primarily dragons of course ^_^ I'll see about messaging him.

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: that would be fine
but they might ave to be a member here... i dont know all the techincalities of rules.

[Draymond]: I'll look into that...*thinks about the piles of words dictating rules on ET*...could take a bit. It was an idea...I'll draw comics how about? I've filled a notebook and a half with a comic series once...then again that was years ago.

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: feel free. you dont really need permission...

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: trying to figure out how to make it editable by anyone who has the password.

[Draymond]: Ah...well I'll make some funny art, and then I'll run it by you for the password. ^_^

[Zab]: No, they don't have to be a member on Elftown to have their work here, unless it's a contest:)
Actually I don't even think you have to ask for permission (just don't claim it as your own) but I'm not completely sure about that. I'd advice you to ask permission and link back to the Elfwood gallery as well if you feature someone elses art.:)

And how to make the page passworded and editabe: Edit the page, in the options you chose ''freely editable'' something and then there is a field for passwords, it's just to write the password there.:)
I could do it for you if you want. Or else you can have it completely open; it's easy to fix if someone messes it up and deletes it.:)

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: okay, i pushed the start exporting button...i dont know what i need to do after that. it's freely editable, and we can group-lynch anyone who deliberately messes it up.

[Draymond]: *chuckles* I like that idea ^_^ Allright, we're in business! Can you still export it with a password?

[Draymond]: Sweet! Check the new "funny section" everyone!

[Zab]: You don't have to have it exported to have it freely editable, (but since people in the crew thinks pretty much all wikis should be exported it's good anyway :P)
And yes, you can have it exported and passworded. :) Tou can't have it exported and ''viewable by forummembers only'' tho, but that's no problem here.

Nice pic :)

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: okay. i dont know much about wikis. this is my first functional one. thanks for the help, everyone who contributed.

[Zab]: Looks like a good wiki tho, and don't hesitate if you want to know anything else:)

[Draymond]: Thanks much [Zab] ^_^ I have a plan for the entire month for pictures...three more from 'Bobby' Holz...and then a couple from the chain mail bikini contest...two actually from there. Then I'm out of fuel...but thats six weeks from now. ^_^

[Zab]: hmm..what's the criteria for the art? that it's fantasy and that it's funny?

[Draymond]: ...Yes. For sure that sounds about right. The two from the bikini contest are actually on (or were, haven't checked today) ET's mainstreet for voting. The mermaid and the tree.

[Zab]: heeh..how about [Yncke]s entry in the show off part of the bikini contest? :P thats pretty funny too.

[Draymond]: ...I'll take a look.

[Zab]: <img100*0:http://elftown.lysator.liu.se/img/photo/17985_1151243713.jpg>
That one. :)

[Draymond]: *laughs* Aye, I just saw it. ^_^

[Zab]: :P thought it was fiting.

[Draymond]: Or lack thereof, in the picture...XD

[Zab]: x) Funny you..:P

[Draymond]: *chuckles* I try to be. ^_^

[Zab]: hehe..well, I should sleep now..past midnight and going up early tomorrow:) see you around.

[Draymond]: Indeed, nice conversing with you. Sleep well.

[Zab]: Thank you, nice talking to you too. And I did sleep well...XD

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: i doner if that dragon ever gets people squashed between his toes?

[Zab]: ..perhaps..splash..Oo

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: human toe-jam

[Zab]: ..cosy..Oo
I'm spammed with messages..only 107..><

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: spammed with messages? here on ET?

[Zab]: yes..XD

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: wouch. how'd that happen?

[Zab]: [Stephen] decided to mess with me:P

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: and he/she spammed you that many times?

[Zab]: yes..XD
<img600*0:stuff/mepopular...jpg>

[Zab]: dunno..he likes to spam? He does the same to [Paz]

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: has anybody blocked or reported him?

[Zab]: XD niooo..he's our friend:P

[Draymond]: Sounds like a rather dull and annoying joke. Actually [The Monochrome Rainbow] I think that there is horse toe-jam being made. >.< But I like horses...ANYWAYS, do you like the illustration for this week? ^_^

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: well, the human (or horse) toe-jam statement was in reference to the big guy... in this weeks illustration. its wonderful!

[Draymond]: Lol, I know check the left forepaw center talon...

Speaking of a big guy, if the person with the bow standing between the dragon's left front and left hind legs is six feet tall...the dragon from left forepaw to shoulder is 84 feet tall...to the head 144...and he weighs about...417 tons. THATS big. lol

RIGHT'O! I asked 'Bobby' Holz if we could display two other of his dargon pictures (which are rather more humourous actually) I have yet to receive a reply (I sent it about three hours ago) but I think we have the month of September figured out for pictures. ^_^

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: hmm, horsemeat. i had to look closely (did you know it's illegal for humans to eat horse in the United States? though we do often dispose of old horses via dog and cat food)

[Draymond]: Interesting, I didn't know either fact.

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: more random (useless) information. I'll have to go to Canada for a horse steak.

[Zab]: Oo it's illegal to eat horsemeat?

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: in canada it is legal, but not in the U.S. too many moral objections.

[Zab]: ..but no moral objections about giving it to dogs? meh..stupid people.

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: i don't understand why people can't eat it. nothing saying they have to (i have no moral objections to eating anything). i see no logical reason we shouldn't be allowed to...

[Sebhar]: It's more justifiable than people eating engorged goose livers (this from a vegetarian, mind you).

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: engorged goose livers? i'll eat anything that sits still long enough.

[Sebhar]: *eyes her camera warily*

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: anything edible. plants, animals, or combinations thereof. my sis used to be a vegetarian, but she was an idiot about it. didn't take supplements, or eat supplements, like vegetables, she wanted to subsist on soy-bacon and mayonnaise

[Sebhar]: That's the stupid way to do it, all right.

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: yeah, she wondered why she got sick all the time, and was anemic. she's one of those little annoying emo fad-followers. thats why she was vegetarian, is because all her friends were.

[Sebhar]: Did she chain-smoke because it's "hardcore", by any chance?

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: she didn't smoke or do drugs (that she told me) but i wouldn't exactly be surprised either.

[Sebhar]: That kind of stuff depresses me...

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: yeah... they all go emo, its like they have no souls, and thenthey think they are different or unique cause they are emo, just like everyone else. i gave up on fads. they annoy me. and when one emo idiot has the nerve to tell another that "I am more emo than you, faker/poser!" wtf?

[Zab]: I've been a vegetarian. >_> <_< ....8 times or so.
x) First time was because of the idea with being ''wrong'' to eat animals. The rest of them were because I feel healthier with a more vegetarian diet, I do believe we eat far more meat than is healthy for us nowadays. I mean, it's not unusual to have ham on the sandwiches for breakfast, meat in the school lunch, and then a steady meal with meat when you get home.. to eat it like 2-3 times a week would be more natural. And plus all the crap that it takes much more resources to ''make'' 1kg meat than 1kg vegetables. I'll probably be a halfvegetarian or vegetarian when I move out from my dads house..XD

also..the reason I started eating horsemeat is because horses here gets illegally transported under heartbreaking conditions to italy and the like because we don't eat them; there are more old and weak horses that is too expencive to kill mercifully than to torture under these transports. *shrugs* And the meat is both good tasting and healthy, so I can't see a reason not to eat it. It's not like the horses are breeded and mistreated only so we can eat them (as with many pigs and cows..I disagree with the common way to keep cows chained in a stall several months a year straight.. I disagree with a lot of things..O_O)

eh..I think I lost the topic a bit there..this is a fantasy wiki, right? x)

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: well, most people eat far more meat (fat in general) than is healthy for them. way back in the cave,an days, meat once a weeks was probably all you got. enough protien to keep the brain running, but i doubt obesity was a problem when you had to chase down your deer.

[Sebhar]: This is true ^_^ However it is rather irrelevant. Perhaps you'd find more vegginess at Proud to be a Vegetarian?

[7sevin7]: sorry im a carnivore =)

[Draymond]: I'm type 'O' blood so meat is a neccessary part of my diet, lest I should get tired and cranky.

[Sebhar]: I think I am, too... but then again I've got my supplements.

[Zab]: Most veggies, excuse me for saying it, is just completely impossible and can't seem to understand the meat eaters way. I avoid veggie pages, I like to start fuzz there but they don't like it as much:P

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: supplements are one thing so many people overlook... like they can thrive on soy alone... at least you're doing it the healty way! my sis wouldnt eat too many veggies. it was all soy products, meatless pizza and mayonnaies. do you still eat milk & eggs?

[Sebhar]: Milk and eggs, yeah. Fish no, chicken no. You have no idea how many people think chicken is vegetarian. "Isn't that a vegetarian meat?" "...do you realise how stupid that question is?" I understand the meat eaters way - I did it for how many years? - but now it kind of makes me want to vomit, and it's just personal preference. Zab, have you tried the Proud to be a Vegetarian? If you're looking to start fuzz, they'll fuzz right back at you. ^^

[Sebhar]: ...and of course they're going to not like it if you openly attack their lifestyle and beliefs. You wouldn't like that, either.

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: i dont start fuzz with them unless they start it with me. my sis had the whole "eating animals is cruel" standpoint (but still ate crab and fish, two of the most cruelly prepared foods) and was very misinformed about the whole thing. I agree that animal raising/slaughtering can always be more humane, and should be required by law (i dont agree with ripping the legs off still-living crabs... ugh)

[Zab]: Nah, I'm not looking to start a fuzz, it's fun sometimes but I try to stay nice:P And I don't have to openly attack their lifestyle, it's usually enough to say: ''Ok, so you don't like meat, that's fine. I don't think it's very healthy either. But why do't you eat it?''
''Because it's cruel to the animals because (insert various fancy sounding reasons) ''
''Hmm...alright...but what makes you think that? I mean, if you look at it (insert fact based but rather polite answers) or what if they changed..etc''
After that I can usually leave the page and watch them write for weeks, first ranting about me, then starting to fight among themselves..I might be cruel but it is funny as h***.. It's just so easy. x)
(I believe myself to be able to discuss most of the things and choices I do in a polite way, at least)
Sometimes at least.

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: some of the fallacies and hypocrisy my sister was spounting made me laugh.

"they butcher cows while they are still alive!"

"Yes, a 3000lb animal is going to sit still while you carve out its tenderloins? how do you figure. Crabs, however..."

[Zab]: What's ''butcher''? Kill? O_o I believe you kill most things while they're still alive..>_>
Or is it something else?

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: butcher is the cutting into parts... but it is often used for "kill" too.

[Zab]: uhm...if they are alive when they do that they must be so drugged they don't feel anything anyway..so I doubt it..XD

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: i know... i enlightened her to the preparations of fish and crab (which she claims isn't meant, i dont understand that. my dad has a word "flexitarians")

[Zab]: Yeah..>_> Well, there is a lot of animal abuse. But I think we should work on what is there and is real, instead of just stop eating meat..let's face it; the entire world won't be veghetariand because it's ''cruel to eat meat''..
And it's hypocritical to eat some meat:P

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: well, then tey preach animal rights (while wearing leather, or makeup, ar any number of other animals byproducts, completely ignorant of how many our society uses.) i think humane animal treatment and killing should be standard and legally regulated.

[Zab]: I know, I've been one of them:P
Of course. They say sweden have the most strics animal laws there is..and we still have animal abuse. ><
From this we can move on to my favourite rant topic; the way we treat our precious horses..XD But I'll spare you from that and just go on with the wiki I'm making.

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: i like horses. sometimes, when people come into work, they smell like horse, and it doesnt bother me, but ill ask what kind of horses they have, and they wonder how i knew they have horses. (my sense of smell is very keen.)

[Zab]: I'm an educated horsekeeper..lousiest education to think of,...XD but I like horses too..:P Actually I'll ride in a few hours.

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: id ride if i had any. but i dont. my brother hit one with his car once.

[Zab]: I don't have any, I ride on a ridingschool. It's more fun than normal riding schools tho, because we actually get to do something:P

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: nice, you get to borrow horses.

[Zab]: Yep..hire more like it. I have to pay:P

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: ouch. hope it isnt too steep.

[Zab]: No, actually it's not:P

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: all the horse places like that here are quite pricy, i cant afford them (can't afford much on fast food wages)

[Zab]: Most of them are here too.. normally280sek/28€ for an hour.. but this place only takes 50sek/5€ per hour, so I can afford it. :)

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: you just found a good one then. i havent done any serious looking.

[Zab]: Well, that it's so cheap is because they had really poor horsekeeping before, the horses were so thin..x_x but now the daughter in the family took it over and even if it's not perfect, the horses has gained weight and become more normal, they're much happier and wild now:P And the price just never changed. They don't have a any education to teach or other proof that they're good, but I believe I know enough about horses and so on to judge it as a fairly good place anyway.:)

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: all that matters in the end anyways. Fancy paperwork doesnt guarantee "good" (I would trust med-school students over doctors with their PhD's anyways)

[Zab]: Yep:P
XD

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: well, such is life.

[Draymond]: *nods* Studying medicine is different than applying it to your career, or should I say job. *shrugs* Anyways, I took the liberty of re-furbishing the great sword on the FAF welcome mat and I put up a new larger banner. ^_^

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: i noticed. it looks better bigger

[Draymond]: It does indeed ^_^ Also, this is the sword where I used MP to mirror one side of the blade to the other so its symetrical unlike the other.

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: even better. some swords that are designed assymmetrical, look okay. your was meant to be symmetrical though.

[Draymond]: True...I should design an asymmetrical sword...that would be swanky...perhaps a flamberge. Aye it was, but my friend (whom is obsessed with swords and the like) cringes at the thought of this particular sword being used to impale somebody...the serrates are a mite large. To quote him; "It would be like a pinnata!" O.o

[Zab]: Nice big banner. :)
Just checking; you do know that it messes up the page for those who have the resolution set to 800x600 on their screen? :P
It will move everything down on the page, beneth the status bar, on some stylesheets or halfway disappear behind the status bar on others. :)
But it looks nice.

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: yeah, my res is 600x800, it all gets pushed down. the serrates would just make impaling more excruciating (but it wasn't meant to feel good now was it?)

[Zab]: the serrates would just make impaling more excruciating (but it wasn't meant to feel good now was it?)

I'm sorry..I just didn't get that part..Oo

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: impaling a person is not intended to feel good, so making weapons more tortuous makes sense.

[Zab]: ah..XD

[Draymond]: *chuckles* I was referring to pulling the sword out of their bellies...>.< Hence...piñata.

Sorry about the resoloution issues, I did not know that...most odd. I'll look into it.

[Draymond]: There...800x600 friendly banner! ^_^

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: still gets pushed down my screen.

[Draymond]: ...make your internet brower window fit to the screen. I'm not making it any smaller...hmpf lol

[Zab]: 500 is the biggest size to make it 600x800 friendly:P That's why we don't allow bigger images on Elftown Graphics:P

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: it don't bother me none. i'd get new orifices torn in my hide for changing anything on this computer.

[Draymond]: ...well that doesen't sound like fun. I changed my monitor to 800x600 to do the banner change...it worked on mine at least. *shrugs* Silly Elftown.

[Draymond]: ALLRIGHT! I've had enough...there's the silly banner that will work for the 800x600...if not, tough socks.

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: lol, works fine.

You need some happy tea.

[Draymond]: Aye, but drawing a sword for three hours was good enough! ^_^

[Zab]: XD *gives happy tea* hmm.. It looks great:P I just wonder why it worked for you when it was bigger, without pushing things down:P

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: i wondered the same. oh well, i'm not quite so computer literate.

[Zab]: What stylesheet do you use? The normal green?

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: i guess. i didn't mess with that option.

[Zab]: OK.. well, strange.

[Draymond]: I use the flame style sheet on ET...I forget the name. Anyways, I run a usual 1024x768 res on my comp. With it set to 800x600 and the second smaller banner it worked fine for me...perhaps its the 19inch flat panel...*shrugs*

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: how do you change stylesheets?

[Draymond]: ...eh...I barely remember, but its something on the page where you would edit your house from.

[Zab]: On your house, ''change personal data''. There is a field where you can chose stylesheet from a list and onewhere you can type your own stylesheet in.

[Draymond]: Woot that's it! ^_^

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: hmm, i'll have to check this out

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: i see, i checked it out. i'm using just index.css (normal stylesheet i guess)

[Zab]: Yep, that's the one everybody have when they first log in..

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: i never bothered to change it. i like the leafyness anyways.

[Draymond]: I like the fire one...valborg something.

-note- The funny picture of the week will be changed asap as soon as either artist Bobby Holz emails me back with permission, or I find another artist.

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: i was wondering about that.

[Draymond]: >.< waiting sucks...

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: yeah. but i'm good at it. let me do you waiting for you.

[Draymond]: ^_^ thanks, but I wouldn't bother you with its burden. My ever foxy mind will come up with a solution.

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: waiting isn't a burden. i throw my waits in a little unmarked box in the corner or my mind, and when they are mature, they pop out of their own accord. its a good system.

[Draymond]: I would agree on that.

Have you seen the movie Constantine?

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: yeah, but i fell asleep in it

[Draymond]: You did? Hmmm I rather like it.

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: it was fine, i was just running on about 2 hours of sleep before i could handle doing that. and had just eaten a large meal, and was in a dark basement by myself.

[Draymond]: No sleep+large meal+cozy place+movie=unconciousness. lol

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: well, if any onething had been different, i would have stayed awake. but it wasn't and i didn't.

[Draymond]: You should rent and watch it again. First time I saw it I was a little creeped out, but I rather enjoy it now.

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: i love movies. i have a long list of favorites.

[Draymond]: Lord of the Rings perhaps? I need to watch those...but a LOTR fan bashed the Inheritance Trilogy to me on ET...so I'm not very inclined to LOTR now...pitty.

[The Monochrome Rainbow]: LOTR was good.

[Draymond]: Mhmm...I'll look into it. I think my sister has all the books...and I'll get some coffee and watch the LOTR movies afterwards.
